I have come to understand that this is not common knowledge to all rogues and I have yet to see it on any site upon performing multiple searches.

This can be soloed for about 200G per hour or done with 2 rogues for about 1000G.

I do this solo but in fairness I have exceptional gear. I'm sure it could be done with good blue gear. If you have problems with this, get a partner to help you. Frankly, as much money as this can make you, it wouldn't be a horrible crime to complely stock up on greater fire protection pots, elixir of mongoose, giant potions, etc. A death will cost you about 6 minutes and time is money.

You will also need improved sap. 100G worth of respeccing is a small price to pay for a weekend of making thousands.

On to the solo strategy:

In Lower Blackrock Spire you want to stealth to the right in the same manner as you would normally clear the dungeon. You'll come around to the left after dropping off the first ledge and work your way to two doors (one after the other) that are very close to each other and have roaming mobs going through them. After you pass the second door, stop. To your right you should see a ledge. Across from that ledge is another ledge where you will see a bunch of ogres. If you move towards that ledge and look down you will see a platform that you can jump onto. Jump to it. Now move forward and you will see another platform. Jump to it. Lastly you will jump to the ground floor where you will see several tents. When you jump down, fall, don't jump or it will break your stealth. Watch out for roaming mobs. You don't want to fall on them.

Continue on until you get to the hill where the spiders are. As soon as you reach this hill you will come to a nook on your right that most groups that do LBRS skip. In that nook you will see three groups of mobs. To the left are 3 mobs, to the right are 3 mobs and in the back right corner are 2 mobs. The two groups of 3 are not linked but all 6 will aggro if you pull one because the two groups are too close together.

Behold my brilliant artwork!: http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2…rrico/LBRS.jpg

What you want is one of the two mobs in the back. One of these mobs is a Blackrock Pyromancer. He is what you will want to kill, so sap the other guy and go up the little hill behind you. Ranged pull the pyromancer. Just before he gets in range hit evasion and kill him as quickly as possible. He will flee just before he dies, so crippling poison is your friend. You could use kidney shot just before he gets to 20% life but why waste it on a fleeing mob?

As soon as you kill him, loot him and vanish.

Duo Strategy

Kill the group in the back in the same manner but don't waste your vanish. Two rogues shouls make extremely short work of both mobs. Heal up, wait for your curses and such to fade and get ready for some big packs.

The problem with the next pull is that you have 6 mobs to deal with. If the two 'inside mobs' are both Pyromancers, dump this pull and reset. The only way you can continue is to reset, fight 4 elits at the same time or kill a couple, die and come back to an easier pull. In any other case, you want to sap 'inside mob1' or inside mob2'. If one of them is a pyromancer, don't sap it, sap the other one and have your partner sap one of the other mobs in sapped mob's group. See this diagram: http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h2…o/th_LBRS2.jpg

Kill the unsapped pyromancer and vanish.

The duo strat is complicated. You will find that there are several configurations to deal with. I prefer to solo but I make a ton of money if I duo all of the mobs.

Your prize is this: http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=28217

It is one of the best robes that a mage can find if he doesn't raid and that is more than 99% of the mage population. Even raiding mages have bought these from me as gaining archanist or something similar isn't necessarily an overnight process for a new raider. The best part of this robe is that it's bind on pickup. The pattern is bind on use but the robe binds when you make it, so the crafter can only make it for himself.

Yes the downside is that the mage has to be a 300 tailor. I have sold this pattern to 100 people that picked up tailoring just to make this robe. Many dumped tailoring after making it.

These patterns sell for about 200 gold on my server. I've found and sold as many as 5 in a day.

Even better is this http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=16100

They sell for 300-400 gold on my server. They don't drop nearly as often as the robe pattern does but it's a nice payday when they do. I also find a ton of blues (shadowcraft, valor, etc). Those always sell pretty nicely.

My worst one hour session was about 70 gold. My best was 1000 gold (3 patterns, 1 fire recipie and 2 blues).

Again, if you're having trouble with the solo strat, get a partner. Two rogues in green gear can easily handle the solo strat.

Happy hunting!

Soloing BRD (sorry if someone else has posted this, I have not seen it) Also, this is my first post, so it may be hard to read, just post questions and I will try and keep an eye on this to answer them.

The best run I have had I got the Fiery Enchant (35g), and the Ace of Elementals (300g+) for about 10 minutes time in the instance. Those prices are on my server.

My main is a rogue so this is written from a rogue point of view, but maybe you could do it with a druid?

Follow the steps to solo Plugger for the Barman Shanker. I am new to this site, but I sure it is posted somewhere here. If not, try www.worldofroguecraft.com it is a decent but limited site (I plan on a couple contributions to them, but posting here first for you guys)

The only variation on a Plugger (barman shanker) run is right after the Shadowforge lock. Go up the ramp and then go straight up the second ramp and cross the Ring of Law. You can pickpocket these guys for about 3-4s each if you feel like it. Free money. After crossing, go immediately to your right and see if Pyromancer Loregrain is there.

If he is, kill him. You need to kill him first, if you kill his adds and vanish, they spawn right back. I sap one, then ambush Pyromancer. I eviscerate immediately so that I don t waste combo points. Then I blind the second add. It will depend on your set up, but I can blade flurry to do them both if I need to. I generally have to use evasion for this fight. I use Instant poison and Mind Numbing. I vanish after the boss and then the two adds are simple by themselves with a sap. I often need a single heal potion for this one.

He has been spawning pretty frequently for me (1 in 3?), and he drops the Fiery Enchant about 30% of the time. Thottbot probably says different, but those are my estimates based on my running it.

Go back through the Ring of Law and continue with the Plugger run. May as well kill him since he is easy, and then the door will open for you to get to Lord Incendius. I recommend killing the little gnomes in the room with the golems too (can't recall name of the room, manufactory?). The gnomes have been known to drop Black Diamonds.

After killing plugger, go out the door and drop down to Incendius level. Avoid the elementals with him.

Poisons don t work so I use Dense Sharpening stones. I have to drink a greater fire resist potion and put on all of my fire resist gear (I am at 127fr). I am far from epic d out . He kicks you, and the lava is death so line up well and go for it. I open with distract and ambush. I have to use my prep for this fight, and both evasions. I have not had to use thistle tea (I trashed the recipe, just got it back) but I am going to start using it. I also end up using my lifestone, whipper root tubers, and a heal potion. I recently added crystal restores, and night dragon s breath so I am hoping it gets easier.

No lie it is a tough fight. With the new items I added I think it will go easier but it can be done. The Ace is a pretty rare drop, but a damn nice prize

It is fun as hell and gives a nice feeling of accomplishment and it s a rogue thing which rocks.

Variations

A short cut to Incendius does not require you to open the shadowforge lock. You jump out the window right before it, drop to the walkway, and can go straight to him.

You can also solo the rock lord in the first area. Time the dogs as they are death to stealthers. He hasn t dropped much worthwhile for me though

The bad news…

Getting out alive is a PAIN, so I usually hearth from there. The damn dogs are just a nightmare on the way out.

———-

It's very possible with a druid, I solo him with my druid all the time.

Heres how.

1. Positioning - Stay on his platform and have your back to one of the rampish things so if he punts you, it's not off the sides. Or you can put yourself between him and the anvil, be suer not to be on top of it.

2. FIRE RESIST is key, he does not hit melee damage, it is all fire damage, I'm a raid build so I have a lot of resist gear, I have around 200 self buffed, so I resist a lot of stuff. Basically Fire resist = armor in this fight, don't focus on armor, it dosen't matter.

3. Damage - If you're a druid, I'm sure you have some sort of 'DPS Gear' it's probably as gimp as mine is, but again, dont sacrifice a lot of fire resist for DPS gear. If you have a decent amount of attack power, it's not hard, go cat form. I find that Rip's are better, this isn't necessarily about speed, but it dosent hurt, Ferocious Bite isn't gonna hit this guy hard.

4 HEALING - Once you hit 40 percent, I don't care if you want that last point for a 5 pointer, shift out, hit rejuv, and hit Healing Touch (Depending on your HP in this gear setup).

5. Umm, just keep goin, he drops the Ace fairly often if you farm him enough, after a friend showed me how I've found 3 Aces over the past 2 weeks, I'm sure it's a bit lucky, but either way, Blues=Shard's/Vendor Trash. You should make a relatively decent amount of money.

You need a paladin. First off do the following:

1. Make sure all your paladin's have Divine Intervention up and have symbols of Divinity.

2. Make sure your Priests and Druids and MT are Soulstoned. If you are really determined, you can SS your entire raid by having a small army of alt Warlocks camped outside the BWL entance. (lvl 18 I think gets you the 15 minute SS with very minimal life return. Just pop potions and use bandages to heal and mana up)

You want to wait until about 1/3 through the first part of the encounter (when you are trying to break eggs by Mindcontrolling Razorgore and the orcs and Dragons are runnign beserk. Mainly because I think you need to fill the room to it's max occupancy. Kite the orcs and sleep the dragons until you are ready to perform the exploit.

Now here is what you do.

1. MC Razorgore with the Orb.

2. In unison have each paladin DI one person. Now the most important person to DI is Razorgore himself. Since he is green and friendly while MC'd, you can DI him.

Razorgore needs to be the last person DI'd.

3. Everyone in the raid now needs to die. Stop healing, let the dragons and orcs wipe you out as fast as possible.

4. Once the raid is no longer agroed, due to being dead and/or DI'd, Razor's script will caus ehim to kill all the orcs and dragons, yet he will remain DI'd and not die as per usual.

5. As soon as this happens you must cancel DI and use your SS's and start rezzing people. You will need at least 10 people to kill Razorgore. At this point he is now easy. Remember you have to do all this in 30 seconds because when DI wears out he starts killing people. The most important things to have up are:

Main Tank

2 Priests

6 Damage dealers

2 Paladins for fire resistance.

Razor is basically a big version of Drakk from UBRS and is not too much harder once you bypass the first part of the encounter.

Hopefully I have the full sequence of events. For more reference see this thread on main wow boards:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.a…mp=1#post223728

When I saw it being done, it took 6 minutes to defeat the encounter.

The wow pvp system awards time and not skill, so if you don't have 12 hours a day for PVP'ing, going for exalted with one of the factions in the battlegrounds, will most likely get you better results gear-wise. The advantage of going for exalted with the BG factions is that your reputation gains aren't reliant on others, as it is with the PVP system, so you can gain rep when you want and it doesn't decay.

There are 3 battlegrounds; Alterac Valley (AV), Arathi Basin (AB) and Warsong Gulch (WG).

Warsong Gulch
Warsong Gulch is 10 vs 10 capture the flag. The games themselves are bracketed in the usual brackets (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60) and the reputation scale to the lvl.

horde gains repuation with Warsong Outriders and alliance gain it with Silverwing Sentinels.

Reputation gains are as follows (wowwiki.com)

Quote: Honor Rewards
The game awards bonus honor to everyone on your side of the match for reaching certain goals. Those goals are:

capturing the opponents flag, rewards 396 honor (at level 60)
winning the match, rewards 198 honor (at level 60)
Honor for lower level matches scales down from the amounts given. Other scored events are not granted honor. These include: killing blows, picking up the opponent's flag, and returning your flag to your base. Honor is awarded for honorable kills as normal.

Winning a complete match (3 captures and the win bonus) gives you 1386 honor (at level 60). It also awards you 3 marks of honor. Turning in the quest for 3 marks of honor is worth an additional 396 honor points.

Losing a complete match (0 captures and a loss) gives you no bonus honor. The only honor you will accumulate will come from honorable kills. You will receive 1 mark of honor at the end of a loss, so you can still collect 3 and turn in the quest as given above.

During the Warsong Gulch Battlegrounds Holiday, you will earn double reputation bonus for each flag captured on your team. The winning team will earn an additional 990 bonus honor (at level 60) for completing the match, in addition to the usual 198 bonus. The losing team will earn 594 bonus honor at the end of the match. Thus a 3-0 match will award a total of 2376 honor to the winners, and 594 honor to the losers during the holiday.

Reputation
Flag Capture - 35 reputation for entire team (10 extra reputation on a Battlegrounds Holiday for a total of 45).
3 Marks of Honor - 50 reputation, or 100 reputation if done through Concerted Efforts or For Great Honor quests.

As can be seen, in this BG you really need to win, to be able to rep up properly. Therefore it's one of the more difficult ones (as opposed to AV), to rep up consistently. Pray your side is good

Exalted rewards
These are the lvl 60 rewards. There are also epic rewards for the 40-49 and 50-59 bracket. Check http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/factions/warsong/index.html for all the rewards.

Tabard:
Silverwing/Outrider Tabard -no stats-

Its "very" special, but its so damn profit-yielding, that I want to share it with you.

It is possible to play 2 accounts at the same time if you play in window mode. Maybe you are in the same lucky position having a second account with a 60er from a friend or guildie.

Whats the point? Farm lbrs Vosh'gajin (T0 Rogue gloves) and Voone (T0 hunter gloves). In the auction house you get 150g and more for these every day … If you play the 2 accounts alone in window mode and find a way to farm these, the whole profit is yours. The first trys I needed over an hour only for Vosh'gajin. Now I get both in less then 25 min. With this I made over 2k gold in the last 2 weeks with less than 2 hours of work a day.

I play a t2 priest and a t2 rogue. Can bypass nearly everything with stealth / Mind Soothe / rogue pulls => priest runs without aggroing => rogue vanish. Use of mindcontrol in every group.
Maybe possible with warrior/priest, druid/priest, druid/rogue, druid/druid? I don't know. Try it out. If you find a way with your combo you get rich ^^. Maybe you don't even need t2, but for voone your tank/rogue needs at least 4k hp unbuffed cause he sometimes hits very hard with a double 2k dmg mortal strike to leather. A high dodge/parry stat can save the healer mana (my rogue has about 36% dodge).

edit: Made a small screenshotguide for you: http://img301.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lbrst0farming6yt.jpg

EDIT: 31.07.2006: Don't farm this way anymore. I think, blizzard lowered the dropchance of both gloves A LOT. When I posted this it was like 1 glove of 2 runs, now its like 1 of 10. In addition you doesn't get as much money for them in the AH now - something about < 100g. . It's no more worth the time.

This paragraph is the exact same text for all my solo and group PvE templates, so after you read this once you can just skip it for other classes. These are my templates for what I consider the best viable templates for PvE purposes ONLY. A solo template is assuming that you never plan on grouping. A group template assumes that you are in a group 100% of the time, such as end game instances. I have also been asked to provide info on what skills should be taken at which levels, this is really difficult as it would depend on exact individual play styles. However, I put a number in parenthesis before each skill, this number is the level that I would take the skill at, of course this is extremely prejudiced because it is based on my own play style. Of course if you think you have a better template please share it with us.

Assassination Talents - 16 points

Herbalism is the art of picking flowers. It is also the art of making cash, which is what we want

Herbalism is one of the few professions that will net you money with little effort. All other professions require you spending a lot of materials to level them up, thus you need to do a lot of business to even break even.

It's highly recommended that you wait until you have a mount before you start leveling herbalism seriously. Up until then just pick whatever flowers you stumble upon. In fact, forget about professions (except skinning) until you hit 55+, since you can't pick the profitable flowers until then.

The best way to level this profession is by being patient. Get a 5-10 minute route down, ride it, then log for an hour and repeat it.

1-15: Here you will collect Silverleaf and Peacebloom in the newbie zones. Easy.

15-50: Earthroot. alliance head to Dun Morogh, horde to Durotar. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?s=earthroot

50-85: Mageroyal. alliance head to Loch Modan/Westfall, horde head to Barrens/Silverpine. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?i=658

85-150: Stranglekelp. Here you have two options: Wetlands or STV. Personally I prefer Wetlands. For Wetlands swim up and down the coast a bit out. For STV either swim up the west coast from BB to the Zandalar tribe isle or swim up and down the SE coast. Maps: STV: http://thottbot.com/?m=8889 and Wetlands: http://thottbot.com/?m=9239

150-195: Liferoot. Wetlands is the best option for this part. Ride around the western swamp area; from the coast to the road leading to Dun Modr. Interspersed with the liferoot is also Kingsblood, which sells decently on AH due to it being needed for Thorium rep. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?m=9232

195-235: Wintersbite. The only place for this herb is in Alterac Mountains. When coming from the south (either TM or SS), first ride through the yeti area of the mountains, then ride through the ogre stronghold and finally ride through the ogre part of the mountains. Log and wait 30-60 mins, then repeat in reverse order. This part is pretty quickly done. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?m=19247

235-270: Blindweed. I prefer using Swamp of Sorrows for this part, since you can get a nice pattern going easily. Simply circle the central lake, log 30 mins and repeat. Alternatively ride back and forth through the northern part of the swamp. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?m=21505

270-300: Dreamfoil. This is the reason you level herbalism. Dreamfoil is used extensively in all the top alchemy recipes and sells for a pretty penny. .75-1.5G per flower depending on server. There are three main places for this herb: Azshara, Felwood or Un'goro. Try all three places and find the least camped one. Dreamfoil grows in open spaces, so stay away from rocky areas. However, Mountain Silversage (used in health pots), grows in mountains, so find a few spawn points of this herb and ride past them on your rounds.
Of the three Un'goro seems to be the least camped…but again it varies with server. Personally I use Azshara to pick my Dreamfoil and it works quite well.

Maps:
Azshara: http://thottbot.com/?m=70549
Felwood: http://thottbot.com/?m=47575
Un'goro: http://thottbot.com/?m=36626

Other herbs worth picking:

Icecap: Used in flasks and mana pots. Only grows in Winterspring in open areas. Heavily camped. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?m=28935

Mountain Silversage: Used in Mongoose pots and health pots. Grows in mountaneous regions. Un'goro is the spot for this herb. Alternatively Winterspring if you are after Icecap.Maps: Un'Goro: http://thottbot.com/?m=33245 and WS: http://thottbot.com/?m=28933

Plaguebloom: Used in Mongoose pots and various elixirs. Grows in both plaguelands and Felwood. Maps: EPL: http://thottbot.com/?m=14671 and WPL: http://thottbot.com/?m=26432 and Felwood: http://thottbot.com/?m=1011788

Gromsblood: Used in Flask of the Titans. Grows in Desolace, Felwood and Blasted Lands. Maps: http://thottbot.com/?i=5537

And there you have it. Herbalism is very good money with very little actual work. You only have to ride around When you decide to sell your gatherings, check your AH first and undercut a bit. If the bottom drops out of the market, jsut wait a few days and stockpile in the meanwhile, then sell when prices move back up.
